About the neighbourgood Platform

the neighbourgood operates a platform which permits certain merchants (“Merchants”) to offer their gift cards for sale to the public at the website www.theneighbourgood.com (as may be amended, supplemented, or changed from time to time, the “Platform”). The Gift Cards may be redeemed for certain products and/or services offered by the Merchants (the “Merchant Offerings”) pursuant to these Gift Card Terms of Sale and subject to any additional terms and conditions specified by a Merchant.

The issuer of each Gift Card is the applicable Merchant, and the Merchant shall be fully responsible for any and all injuries, illnesses, damages, claims, liabilities and costs suffered by or in respect of you, caused in whole or in part by the Merchant, as well as for any unclaimed property liability arising from unredeemed Gift Cards or portions thereof.

the neighbourgood is acting solely as an agent which facilitates payment by you on the Platform to the Merchant, and you waive and release the neighbourgood from any claim, liabilities, damages, or injury arising from or related to any act or omission of a Merchant in connection with a Gift Card or the products/services provided in connection therewith and/or as it relates to compliance with applicable unclaimed property and other laws relating to the redemption of the Gift Cards or any portion thereof. 

The terms “you” and “your” refer to the person who purchased the Gift Card and/or the person who uses the Gift Card.

Gift cards never expire

Final sale, nonreturnable, not for resale

Notwithstanding anything contained in these Terms and Conditions, eGift cards purchased through the neighbourgood ("gift cards") are not returnable or refundable for cash except where required by law. Resale of gift cards is strictly prohibited.


The merchant is responsible for any unclaimed property liability arising from unredeemed Gift Cards or portions thereof.

No affiliation with the neighbourgood

Use of the neighbourgood's name, logo, trade dress (including any image/likeness of the cards) or trademarks in connection with the purchase or use of gift cards is strictly prohibited. Furthermore, the use of gift cards in any manner that states or implies that any person, website, business, product or service is endorsed or sponsored by, or otherwise affiliated with, the neighbourgood is prohibited.

Lost or Stolen Gift Card

Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced. Neither the neighbourgood, nor the Merchant shall have liability to you for (i) lost or stolen Merchant gift cards or (ii) use of any gift cards by third parties. You are solely responsible for keeping the information regarding your gift card safe and for any activity conducted under your account.

No Consolidation for Gift Card

You may not consolidate or combine multiple gift cards to purchase a new gift card. theneighbourgood.com does not consolidate or combine multiple gift cards into one gift card per customer requests.
